Amanda Merrill
<p><!--block-->Amanda began her journey with KinderCare in 2001. She started as a Teacher's Assistant and knew right away she had found her calling. Amanda quickly became certified as a Lead Teacher where she taught children of all ages. She taught two-year-old children for a majority of her teaching career, until being promoted to Assistant Director at the Columbia KinderCare. Through her years of teaching she obtained the Infant and Toddler Certification, the School Age Certification and several other qualifications. obtained her associate degree in Early Childhood Education/Early Childhood Special Education from Howard Community College in 2014 and was promoted as the Center Director of the Eldersburg KinderCare where she lead the center for three years. In 2016 she obtained her bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Maryland University College. Ms. Amanda transferred to the Owings Mills KinderCare April of 2017. </p>

Brittany Spurlock
<p><!--block-->Brittany began her journey in Early Childhood Education as an aide while still in high school. After obtaining her bachelor's in biology, she took an assistant teacher position working with two-year olds. Soon after that, Brittany furthered her education by obtaining her 90 hour Preschool Certification and becoming a MSDE level 3 credentialed provider. After being the Prekindergarten teacher for two years with another center, Brittany began her journey with KinderCare in September 2015 as a Prekindergarten teacher in Owings Mills. In October 2016 she was promoted to Assistant Director at the Owings Mills center. Brittany thoroughly enjoys working with children and plans to continue her education with additional courses in the ECE field. </p>
